Shanghai's favorite black tie boxing bloodbath returns for another round, and this year White Collar Boxing International is 'Entering the Dragon'. December's Brawl on the Bund will rock Kerry Hotel Pudong on December 3 for a one-time only event that's the first of its kind in the world.
More than 1,500 people will watch Shanghai's finest duke it out for victory. 'White Collar' boxers have been plucked from offices across the city and put in intensive training for three months, and will be ready to show off their newly mastered hooks, jabs and – importantly – ability to take a punch.
In the next few weeks leading up to the match, we will be posting interviews with the boxers. From the final bout, Bruno 'The Bruiser' Mirabile and Dave 'Call Me' Brodie took the time to answer some questions:
Bruno 'The Bruiser' Mirabile
Nationality: Brazilian
Age: 26
Weight: 83kg
Favorite quote: "With great power, comes great responsibility." - Uncle Ben
What made you decide to fight?: I needed a challenge and a way of letting go of things that were keping me awake at night. Boxing seemed to help and fight the Brawl kept me inspired.
Job title: Guest Relations Manager
If you could fight anyone, dead or alive, who would it be?: Myself
What inspires you to box?: After the last sparring, to decide who's going to fight and split the teams, one of us didn't make it and that crushed them. Then and there I realized how much it meant to be selected and how important it was for some people. I shouldn't take it for granted and I must give it my best because someone would give a lot to be where I am.
What's been the most difficult challenge for you since you started training?: Manage training and work not letting one get in the way of the other. Boxing is intense and takes discipline, and I was never really good at following rules. It's been a really interesting experience so far.
Favorite boxer: I can't say I have a favorite boxer, I just got into it a few months ago. Tyson, Holyfield, Ali, Foreman those are the ones I would hear about when I was a kid, but that's as far as it goes.

Dave 'Call Me' Brodie
Nationality: Canadian
Age: 36
Weight: 78kg
Favorite quote: "Panda, Panda, Panda, Panda, Panda, Panda, Panda, Panda, Panda, Panda" - Desiigner 2015
What made you decide to fight?: I'm not flexible enough for yoga.
Job title: Global Sales Director
If you could fight anyone, dead or alive, who would it be?: Is Chinese Internet a person?
What is one memorable experience from your training?: My first time sparring I was incredibly anxious. When we tapped gloves to start, I came out aggressive in an effort to dictate the fight. I figured my cardio was solid adn I could keep pace for two minutes. Little did I know the importance of adrenaline control. After 40 seconds I was completely wined and mistakenly put my head down without protecting my face. My opponent quickly saw the opportunity and landed a solid right upper cut. My nose blew open, blood everywhere. I quickly realized how real it is in that ring.
What's been the most difficult challenge for you since you started training?: Burpees. I hate those things. Can't we just punch something instead?
Favorite boxer: Joe. Definitely Joe Boxer.
