The Peninsula Shanghai’s sixth annual Tour de Bund Charity Cycle Ride will take place on Saturday, September 10. The popular pedal power event brings together people from all walks of life to promote fitness and healthy living. At the same time, the cycle ride increases awareness of pollution-free travel and shows how businesses and the local community can work together to create a greener city while raising funds for Raleigh China.
The ride unites club cyclists, leisure riders, families and hotel guests together in a bike ride along the Huangpu riverside for a good cause. In its first five years, Tour de Bund raised close to RMB500,000 for its beneficiaries, and drew more than 1,200 participants. This year, they are aiming to raise RMB300,000.
