UPDATE (7.25 pm CST, June 17, 2016): Lines and waiting times appear to be back to normal for now, according to travelers who visited the airport this afternoon.
Following Sunday's explosions at Shanghai Pudong International Airport, passengers have been reporting insanely long lines and wait times.
Travelers and airlines have shared photos on social media showing just how long the lines for security checks have become after officials stepped up security measures at the airport. Passengers are now required to have their luggage inspected upon entry into both terminals.
For the time being, travelers are recommended to arrive to the airport at least three to four hours before departure, according to QQ News.
Check real-time flight statuses on the official Pudong International airport website.
