It's been a decade since the British singer-songwriter topped charts around the world with charming singles 'Lollipop' and 'Grace Kelly.' The Grammy nominee continues to mature musically with last year's No Place in Heaven praised by some as his best disc yet. Feb 27: 5 Seconds of Summer
Since forming five years ago, these Australian teens have gone from YouTube sensations to music superstars with two American chart topping albums like last year’s Sounds Good Feels Good. While One Direction are early proponents, the quartet has a sound that Rolling Stone describes as “emo gone pop.” They’ve sold out prestigious stages like London’s Wembley Arena and will be making their Mainland debut. Expect hits like ‘She Looks So Perfect’ to have the teenage girls screaming.

Feb 27: The Cocolicious Golden Age
Standout Shanghai jazz singer Coco Lee revives his fabulous Cocolocious persona. With a standout band featuring JZ standouts like Oleg Roschin and Alec Haavik, Cocolicious will perform classic swing tunes. However, don’t be surprised if she dips into contemporary hits from Britney and Radiohead, reworked to fit the vintage and effervescent 1920s mood. Dress code: 1920s and 30s vintage. Feb 27-28: Frozen Planet in Concert
BBC’s majestic documentary is paired with Academy Award nominated composer George Fenton’s acclaimed score for a truly audio-visual feast. Zhang Chengjie conducts the Shanghai Opera House Orchestra, while breathtaking HD images from the landmark series will be screened on 150 square meters of LED screen.

Feb 28-29: China Meets Luxembourg
Award-winning trumpeter and composer Gast Waltzing has been a leading figure in Luxembourg’s jazz scene, creating several bands and founding the jazz department at the Luxembourg Conservatory. He gives his considerable blessing to JZ favorite Li Xiaochuan, who is considered one of China’s premiere trumpeters. Expect a swinging show between this cross-cultural meeting of masters.
