French Bangers Episodes XV – Beat Wars

Homemade Weapons
The Seattle producer has been carving a new sound within drum and bass creating a “more minimal, refined and dub inspired sound.” He brings his China tour to The Shelter for what promises to be an aural assault.

This emerging local house and techno label takes over DADA for their monthly party. Expect to hear original productions from MIIA and Laura Ingals, as well as slamming sets from Raz and Mau Mau.

The ninth edition of Transmission welcomes the Chicago house pioneer for what promises to be a rousing show within the intimate confines of URVC. Gerald A, Don Jaly and Rob Young supports.

Sound of Casbah

Discosmic X Co:Motion: Hearts for Refugees
Two of Shanghai’s finest party crews team up for a benefit party assisting refugees on the tiny Greek island of Lesbos. Party to infectious nu-house from Discomsic and tech-house from Co:Motion, with all proceeds going to Help For Refugees to send 200 tents from China to the EU.

DJ Wordy/Fader One/3asic
DJ Wordy is a three-time China DMC Champion and Beijing legend thanks to his recurring Hotpot parties. He continues his Shanghai invasion with his latest party at Arkham, where he’s backed by Yeti’s Fader One and rising Nanjing bass god 3asic, whose last full-length, This Album Made My Friends Bas Sik, was one of our favorite Mainland Albums of 2015. A really sick bill.

Youjun Radio Night
Shanghai’s son of techno MHP is set for a massive year, recently playing last week’s packed D-Force showcase with a highly anticipated relese to drop on Douban’s emerging label. He’s also been celebrating China’s finest with his Youjun Radio show which makes is DADA debut. Support from Jackie, DJ Doggie, Roc S and Illsee, with visuals from VJ Panda Lee.
