Nov 5: Young Guru
201510/Nov5-YoungGuru.jpgSo Young Guru pulled a Mos Def and didn't get on his plane to Shanghai for this show. Le Baron has rebounded by throwing a house party to coincide with a video shoot for hometown rappers Busy Gang. Better yet, drinks are on Young Guru. The club is using the money reserved for his booking fee and serving up a complementary free drink for anybody that arrives before midnight.

Nov 6: Kid Fresh

The Yeti crew bring in the three-time DMC Champion who has also won five national titles in Germany. A founding member of the infamous Lordz of Fitness turntablist crew, Kid Fresh has been releasing music lately on Diplo’s hip Mad Decent imprint. Nov 6-7: Le Cafe des Stagiaires (Yongkang Lu) 4-Year Anniversary

Yongkang Lu is going to get extra sloppy this weekend as the original Le Cafe des Stagiaires celebrates its fourth birthday. Party kicks off on Friday night at 6pm and all-day on Saturday. DJ Kommi, DJ Cavia and Ekram will perform live with after-parties at the other Le Cafe des Stagiaires  locations.

The budding hometown label throws a big party to celebrate the release of MIIIA’s What Just Happened EP. She’ll be supported by Mau Mau and Raz, as well as the allegedly departed Laura Ingalls, who will be spinning disco. Listen to MIIIA on Bandcamp.

Nov 7: Eva Shaw

201511/evashaw.jpgThe Dutch-Canadian DJ formerly known as Bambi has been on the rise with residencies at Hakkasan Las Vegas and performances at mega-fests like Ultra Miami. This Afro-Caribbean themed night holds its third edition featuring Jamaican reggae singer Perfect Giddimani, who’s best known for his hit ‘Hand Cart Bway.’ Some of the country’s finest reggae talent will support including Shanghai fave ChaCha, Raddam Ras and the Beijing based, French-Cameron duo UBC.
