Épicerie is a French-run café and wine bar, owned by the same chef (Nicolas Le Bec) as upscale restaurant Bistro 321 Villa Le Bec. The front part is a cafe and grocery store, while the back is a chic wine bar with moody wine cellar decor.
Bottles of wine are sold at retail price, though an 'opening fee' applies if you drink it in the bar. Prices by bottle start from RMB180, with three by the glass at RMB50. A short menu of wine-appropriate dishes – think cheese, charcuterie and oysters – are offered.
