Telas Description

Bar Telas is a Japanese-run cocktail bar in Gubei, an area of Shanghai that is home to a concentration of Japanese expats, restaurants and businesses. As such, Bar Telas models itself on home comforts befitting of a Tokyo whisky lounge; expect a refined, loungey atmosphere with supremely polite service and immaculate bathrooms. 

Led by femal mixologist Yuko Onimaru, the menu here focuses on classics, though special cocktails requests are welcomed. The menu is written in English, but service is conducted primarily in Japanese and Chinese. 

Entrance is through an unmarked doorway (see below), and prior reservation is recommended though not required.
