Shanghai United International School Description

Shanghai United International School is the natural choice for parents who wish for a bilingual international school for their children. It is the school “where East meets West”. SUIS opened its doors to 60 students in September 2003 and we now have a community of nearly 1200 students – and growing! – across the four SUIS campuses. SUIS Hong Qiao campus is in the Minhang district, for students from PR to secondary . SUIS (Hong Qiao Campus) is part of the Xiehe Organization – a group of 35 bilingual schools across Shanghai. SUIS is not a foreign-owned school, providing a foreign curriculum. It is part of the local community, and we aim to provide our students with two high-grade educational components – An English-rich, bilingual, truly international curriculum through the IB Primary Years Programme and International Curriculum of England Chinese (Mandarin) language and Mathematics through the Chinese national curriculum. Students at SUIS enjoy the best of both worlds.
