Jade on 36 Restaurant Description

Jade on 36 Restaurant is, like Shanghai, classic, yet modern and contemporary.  Featuring European fusion cuisine, the futuristic design of Adam D. Tihany and views of the city, Jade on 36 Restaurant is an icon of modern Shanghai.

In this restaurant, guests can enjoy a more detailed view of Puxi with the custom-made Swarovski Telescope. Peer through the lens to spy the Gothic spire, ancient Greek dome, Baroque colonnades and Spanish balconies on the other side of the Huangpu river.  With the Puxi skyline as a backdrop, guests can indulge in a new defined culinary journey.

Chef Olivier Pistre believes in respecting the authenticity of its various cuisines, and mastering techniques together with seasonal products from sustainable sources. Jade on 36 Restaurant’s new menu is a contemporary interpretation of classic French cuisine.  Chef Olivier Pistre uses premium seasonal ingredients with a special focus on enhancing the natural flavours and capitalizing on their freshness.
