If there are such beings as superwomen in this world, they are our moms. They risk their lives to bring us to the world, support us through the best and the worst, clean up after our messes with no complaints and, most importantly, always know where our stuff is and how to wash our clothes! Such great women deserve not only our highest praises but also a show of our appreciation. With Mother’s Day around the corner, we have rounded up places in town for you to pamper your super mom.Help her escape her daily errands and make her a queen, even if it is just for one day.

Mother’s Day Date at W Guangzhou
From May 11 to 12, a special high tea set will be prepared at Woobar at the W Guangzhou. Mainly featuring chocolate and chocolate-related desserts, this high tea set is made by Arno Backe, a German pastry who was inspired by chocolate cooking methods from Switzerland. Macaroons are a must-try. Caffe Mondo and Kumoi at the Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou have prepared a gastronomic treat for mom. Over 100 authentic specialties are on the bill of fare, including honey-glazed ham ravioli, salt-crusted sea bass, handmade pasta and pizza, as well as a tantalizing selection of desserts. Specially handmade cupcakes by Executive Pastry Chef Audrey add the sweet finish to this yummy thank you to mummy.
