July 17: Sydney Children's Choir

Led by its founder Lyn Williams OAM, Australia's leading director of choirs for young people, the Sydney Children's Choir has gained prestige throughout its 25-year history. The group regularly performs with world-class orchestras and conductors, including Michael Tilson Thomas and the YouTube Symphony Orchestra. Cooperating with the Sydney Symphony, they performed the Lord of the Rings trilogy in 2011, 2012 and 2013. The choir travels the globe frequently, performing Australian repertoire to great acclaim.

July 18: Tsai Ming-liang Personal Exhibition

Voted one of the 40 best directors in the world by The Guardian.

Following his exhibition held at the Louvre Museum in Paris, Museum of Moving Image in New York, National Palace Museum in Taipei and the 2007 Venice Biennale, Tsai Ming-liang will bring his first exhibition to Chinese mainland this July. Born in 1957 in Malaysia, Tsai gradually earned his position as one of the most prestigious directors of independent films in Taiwan after graduating from the Drama and Cinema Department of the Chinese Culture University of Taiwan in 1982. In 2003, The Guardian voted him one of the 40 best directors in the world.

July 19: The Pro Musica Girls' Choir

The Pro Musica Girls' Choir from Hungary originated when former members of the Cantemus Children's Choir wished to carry on their journey singing together. In the same year, they took part in the Bela Bartok International Choir Competition in Debrecen and won first place. Their repertoire extends from Gregorian chants to contemporary Hungarian music and pieces reflecting the Renaissance and romanticism.
