On June 13, Quentin Mosimann is coming to Wave Club.

If you are unfamiliar with the EDM mastermind, he is currently the world’s seventy-second best DJ based on DJ Magazine’s annual Top 100 DJs poll.

Quentin Mosimann won the Star Academy in February of 2008. He earned EUR1 million.

On August 18, 2008, he released his debut album, Duel, a double album, which reached number two in France and number one in Belgium.

In February 2010, Mosimann followed up the success of Duel by releasing his second album, Exhibition, which also received rave reviews and notable attention on the European charts.

In October 2013 he became the world’s sixty-ninth greatest DJ, according to DJ Magazine's annual Top 100 DJs poll. Mosimann also scored the honor of fourth best French DJ in the world.

If you are still failing to see why his presence in Guangzhou is such a big deal, consider that China is a country where EDM, or electronic dance music, has made relatively few inroads. This is due, in part, to the fact that it is difficult for DJs to sell tickets in China, leading to fewer performances than other regions of the world.

China just doesn’t get the same DJs the rest of the world does, plain and simple.

Basically, if you love dancing, loud music and elite DJs and you pass up this opportunity – you are crazy. It is sure to be an EDM show like nothing Guangzhou has seen before.

VIP tickets will run you RMB100 and buying tickets at the door will cost you RMB150, this price includes a drink.  If you make a table reservation at Wave Club before 10:30pm the ticket is free.
