Now until December 31: 30 Years of Taste
From now until the end of the year, enjoy the traditional dishes from 30 years ago, only at the Garden Hotel, Guangzhou.
Deep-fried pork fillet with orange sauce was invented in the Garden Hotel, Guangzhou during the 80s when the hotel was founded. Due to its landmark status in Guangzhou, chefs from Hong Kong and Western countries were brought to the Hotel to conduct trainings for local chefs. The exchange program had led to the development of innovative cuisines and deep-fried pork fillet with orange sauce was the result of the mix of Chinese and Western taste. It brings out the unique taste and makes it one of the best selling dishes in Lai Wan Market in the 80s.
Other fine dishes include: traditional shredded duck soup, deep-fried crab claw stuffed with minced shrimp and stir-fried Chinese ham with sliced whelk.
