Shunde kicked off its summer with music and waterfront leisure as the Fête de la Musique 2025 Shunde Edition officially launched on May 30, alongside the reveal of the new OCT Harbour PLUS Weekend Campground.

This marks the 11th time the popular French-born music celebration has landed in Shunde, Foshan, where it will run from June 20 to 22

Themed 'Endless Summer of Music,' the event brings together nine French and Chinese bands for a weekend of open-air performances, immersive experiences, and cultural exchange.

On the lineup are French bands Lize, BRÖ, and ATOEM, known for their pop, house, folk, and experimental sounds, while Chinese bands such as Liang Zheng & Shang Neng Fan (梁正&尚能饭), YuFeiMen+ (与非门乐队), Qiulin (秋林) from Qiulin Hakka Band, MOONBAND (闷饼乐队), Drifting Street (漂流街乐队), and Tiu Dung Woo (跳东湖乐队) will showcase a mix of rock, indie, and local flavor.

The concerts are free and open to the public, offering a relaxed festival atmosphere in one of Shunde’s most vibrant nighttime destinations.

In addition to the live music, the festival will host over 30 food and lifestyle booths featuring creative street eats, local crafts, and cultural displays.

Inside the shopping mall, a public piano will be available for spontaneous performances, while a social media campaign—'Travel Shunde with the Band'—will follow musicians as they explore the city’s unique food and culture.

Situated at the convergence of OCT Harbour PLUS and Shunfengshan Park, the waterfront site introduces a new weekend gathering spot for locals and visitors alike.
