One of the biggest Dragon Boat events in Shenzhen is making waves once again! Since its launch in 2012, the Mission Hills Dragon Boat Race has grown into a major spectacle—and 2025 marks its 11th thrilling edition. Get ready for roaring drums, fierce races, and riverside excitement!

Grand Final:

How to Get There:

  • Metro: Take Metro Line 4 to Qikeng Station, exit from Exit D, then transfer to Bus M287 or M289 and hop off at Guanhu Century Plaza Station. From there, it’s a 2-minute walk.

  • Bus: Head to Guanhu Century Plaza Station, served by buses M287, M289, B919, B769.

This year’s Dapeng Dragon Boat Race brings together 29 elite teams from across the Greater Bay Area for an adrenaline-pumping showdown on the sparkling waters of Moon Bay. Set against a backdrop of blue skies and turquoise waves, the event offers more than just thrilling races—expect marine tech exhibitions, seaside wedding showcases, folk singing performances, and a buzzing market filled with local delights.

Opening Ceremony: May 30, 8.40am–11am

Grand Final: May 31, 8.40am–11am

  • Best Option: Drive or book a taxi for the most direct access.

  • By Public Transport: Take Shenzhen Metro Line 8 to Liantang Checkpoint Station, then hop on Bus E11 to Shang Xia Qi Sha Station. From there, it’s just a 200m walk to the bay.

Dashahe is going global! This year marks the exciting debut of the Dashahe Dragon Boat Race as an international tournament, gathering 24 elite teams and over 600 rowers for a spectacular showdown. But the action doesn’t stop at the water—expect epic opening moments with lion dances and eye-dotting rituals, plus thrilling water stunts and dazzling drone shows. Around the racecourse, a vibrant festival unfolds with cultural performances, handicraft booths, solstice snacks, and even a dragon boat-themed pop-up post office!
