As Halloween creeps around the corner, spooky specters and ghoulish gatherings are taking over China's theme parks and restaurants.

Whether it's witches or vampires, you can bet your last candy corn that Halloween in China is a delightfully creepy affair.

But beware, fellow Halloween enthusiasts! Recently, the Guangzhou Metro issued a spine-tingling announcement: remove your terrifying makeup and ghostly get-ups when taking a ride on the metro.

That's right, no metro spooks allowed.

The Guangzhou Metro warns passengers not to transform their daily commute into a performance art piece with some frighteningly realistic face paint.

So, if you're planning to unleash your inner monster and hit the metro, remember, before descending into the metro abyss, you must shed your spooky skin.

And it's not just makeup and costumes; watch out for oversized props and anything that goes bump on the train.

Fake guns, blades, inflammables, explosives, and items exceeding a combined length, width, and height of 1.6 meters are strictly off-limits on the metro.

As Halloween approaches, remember that the Hanxi Changlong Station on Guangzhou Metro Line 3 can get crowded at night.

But fear not! The Guangzhou Metro will set up free makeup-removing stations for all your post-Halloween transformation needs.
