The social media-savvy police in the Guangdong city of Foshan are back at it, this time with a short video intended to educate citizens about the dangers of online dating scams.

The 20-second clip was released by police in Foshan’s Shunde District and shows a male officer donning women’s clothing and makeup to change his appearance to that of a “beautiful woman,” to quote SupChina. Near the end of the video, a police officer appears to handcuff the crossdresser.

The video was made to help increase awareness of online-dating con artists, which, unfortunately, are all too common in China (see ‘Man Dupes 7 Girlfriends into Hong Kong Pyramid Scheme,’ ‘Scam Artist Uses WeChat to Steal 1 Million RMB from Guangdong Women’ and ‘Laowai Waits 10 Days in Airport for Online Girlfriend’ for reference).

Last month, law enforcement officials in Foshan dropped a pretty catchy song, which was accompanied by a music video, to remind residents to celebrate Lantern Festival in a safe manner. The song was a cover of the catchy tune ‘Burn my Calories’ (燃烧我的卡路里), originally performed by Rocket Girls 101 (火箭少女101).
