The 19th annual Guangzhou Sex Culture Festival romped into town this past weekend, offering Guangzhouers a chance to gawk at scantily-clad models and fondle rubber boobs, or glass penises, or – you get the idea.
There was a myriad of bedroom toys (including a replica of Willy Wonka’s penis, see below) and life-size sex dolls on display, as well as a sex consultant booth (where you could ask questions about sexual health) and an erotic VR experience.
For the first time ever, this year’s ‘sexpo’ featured foreign models during its racy catwalk show, which, based on the observations of one reporter in attendance, drew thongs – er, throngs – of middle-aged men.
The event ran for three days, from November 3 to 5, and wrapped up last night at Pazhou’s Nanfeng International Exhibition Center.
