So many "China podcasts" are just that – about Chinese history, politics or other, similarly wonky subjects. Not that there's anything wrong with that (we love us some history) but, sometimes, we yearn for the lighter side of China – and now, Kung Fu Komedy has delivered. This week, the Kung Fu Komedy krew bring chat with Jay Thornhill and Charlie Erickson, the co-founders of Baopals.
Jay and Charlie are two good buddies who founded the startup Shanghai-based Baopals. China has a website called Taobao, which is kind of like ebay except it’s a thousand times bigger and notoriously difficult for expats to navigate. The guys sought to bridge that gap and all non-Chinese a chance to get some of that sweet sweet Taobao love.
Every week, Andy Curtain tracks down the most interesting person he can find and asks them what they're doing in China. To subscribe, add the Stuck in the Middle podcast on iTunes, or copy this link to use in your favorite podcatcher app.
