Exciting news! Dulwich College International schools in China have achieved top ranking IB scores for 2023.

All four of the Dulwich College International schools – Dulwich College Shanghai Pudong, Dulwich College Shanghai Puxi, Dulwich College Suzhou, and Dulwich College Beijing – are ranked in the top five of leading international schools in the country according to the China IB League Table.

These remarkable results are a testament to the exceptional teaching methods, personalized support, and enriching learning environment fostered across Dulwich College International’s family of schools.

Welcome to Dulwich College Shanghai Pudong

Dulwich College Shanghai Pudong is located in Jinqiao, Pudong. Founded in 2003, the school was the first Dulwich College International school to open, and is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.

Facilities include a fully refurbished theater with two drama black boxes, music classrooms, a recording studio and five individual music practice rooms.

For sports, there are two gymnasiums, a dance studio, a function room, a 25-metre six lane FINA swimming pool, a training pool, basketball courts and large sports fields.

DUCKS students have their own dedicated building with a music classroom and library. There are extensive external play areas with shade, a running track, multiple tennis courts and a dedicated Toddler unit.

Junior School students have their own film studio and editing suite, Maker Space, The Lab (science laboratory), an art room and a fully stocked library.

The Senior School opened its state of the art facility, SE21, in 2017 to encourage STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Technology) and entrepreneurship 

Recently, the school has been shortlisted for the Sustainability Award in the Tes Awards for International Schools 2024, and for the Holistic Education Award and Pastoral Care Award in the China Schools Awards 2024.

Welcome to Dulwich College Shanghai Puxi

Situated in the leafy suburbs of Minhang, Dulwich College Shanghai Puxi opened in 2016.

The school’s state-of-the-art campus, spanning over 40,000 square meters, boasts light-filled classrooms and premium facilities that cultivate academic, physical, and artistic development.

From a 50-meter Olympic-sized swimming pool, fully air-filtered triple gymnasium, and all-grass football pitch to their green-screen recording studio, orchestra rooms, bespoke science labs, and ample green space, Dulwich College Shanghai Puxi ensures students are immersed in an environment that inspires creativity and curiosity. 

Recently, the school has been shortlisted for the Diversity and Inclusion Award and Students for Sustainability Award in the China Schools Awards 2024.

Its Head of College, Mr David Ingram, has been shortlisted in the category of International Principal/Head of the Year, while the school has been shortlisted for Best Use of Technology in the Tes Awards for International Schools 2024.

Welcome to Dulwich College Beijing

Established in 2005, Dulwich College Beijing has a student body of more than 1,500 students from age three to 18, with over 30 different nationalities. 

Dulwich College Beijing’s campus provides outstanding facilities, including two sports domes, a multi-purpose sports hall, six tennis courts, a FIFA two star rated football pitch, a natural grass rugby pitch and Beijing’s only cricket pitch.

The school building houses the 602–seat Wodehouse Theatre, 300-seat Edward Alleyn Theatre, two Black Box theaters, spacious music rooms, ICT suite for music production, a fully equipped radio studio, light and airy art rooms and three libraries with access to over 70,000 resources.  

Recently, Dulwich College Beijing has been shortlisted for Community Engagement Initiative of the Year in the Tes Awards for International Schools 2024 and for the Students for Sustainability Award in the China Schools Awards 2024.

Welcome to Dulwich College Suzhou

Dulwich College Suzhou opened its doors in 2007, and it is home to approximately 800 students from age two to 18, with over 40 different nationalities represented in the diverse student body.

Students have access to age-appropriate libraries and media centers, 700- and 360-seat theaters, two black box theaters, two dance studios, fully equipped science laboratories, suites of music rooms, and workshops for art and design technology.

With a multi-purpose gymnasium, aquatics centre, outdoor tennis and basketball courts, 50,000 square meters of sports fields – including the best all grass rugby field in the area – games pitches, a new FIFA2 professional quality all-weather surface and a 400-meter running track, students are given every opportunity to engage in a wide variety of sports.  

The school also offers full-time and flexible boarding for students from eight years of age in state-of-the-art boarding facilities, supported by caring house staff.
