A Chinese reality TV singing competition. 

Years active:
July 2012-October 2015. 

Who is The Voice of China?
Bruce Liang was the winner of season 1; Li Qi, season 2; Diamond Zhang, season 3; and Zhang Lei, season 4. 

Aim:
To find China’s next superstar. 

Logo:
A hand holding a microphone and making the peace sign. 

Number of finalists:
16 per season.

What is it?
A new broadcaster super entity. 

Years active:
It was announced last month in a Communist Party document. 

Who is the Voice of China?
A merger between three of the country’s largest state-run national networks: China Central Television, China Radio International and China National Radio. 

Aim:
“To improve journalism and publicity,” according to Xinhua. 

Logo:
Yet to be unveiled. 

Number of employees:
More than 14,000.
