Listen up, music junkies - we're giving away two tickets to Yugong Yishan Festival held at the New Great Wall Valley. The prize package includes two one-day tickets (choose day one or two) for you and a friend as well as shuttle bus tickets there and back so you're all set for a stress-free good time.
It's not a bad year for Yugong Yishan.
The hip music venue has been booking quality acts from The Pains of Being Pure at Heart to The Hormones (catch them this Saturday night). Just recently, they've announced their newest endeavour - the venue's own music festival.
The first ever Yugong Yishan Festival kicks off April 21-22 at the New Great Wall Valley. The two-day event boasts an impressive lineup featuring international acts such as German rock band Die Toten Hosen, post-rockers Tortoise from Chicago (pictured above), Mouse on the Keys from Japan and German indietronica band The Notwist (pictured above). China's own post-punk band Re-TROS will also perform, among many other local acts. That's only the first day.
Day two keeps going strong with Danish electronic group Blue Foundation, Beijing's own Nova Heart aka the brainchild of rock royalty Helen Feng (pictured above), Chinese pop star Song Jia, trip-hop masters Morcheeba and more.
