UPDATED: Where to Get Thanksgiving Dinner & Delivery in Beijing

Thanksgiving is right around the corner. For all you non-Americans out there, the big day is Thursday November 23. If you're looking to gorge yourself this Thanksgiving, you're in luck. There are tons of dinners and delivery services popping up around town for the holiday. For delivery options, scroll to the end of the article. We hope you're hungry! 

Slow Boat


Slow Boat will be serving a classic Thanksgiving spread on Thursday. They'll have a whole roasted turkey complete with their Helmsman’s Honey Ale glaze (cooked up by the folks over at Ramo), traditional stuffing, chunky mashed potatoes and gravy, green bean casserole, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie (courtesy of Bread of Life). And the whole meal will be topped off with a glass of house wine. If you want to really celebrate you can add free-flow beer and choose from 16 brews on tap for RMB144. There are only 20 seats available, so book soon if you want a spot. Just scan the QR code in the poster to reserve a spot.

Jing-A Brewpub XFC

Jing-A's new brewpub is getting into the spirit of things with a decked out dinner. They will be serving roast turkeys and all sorts of sides like chorizo stuffing, crispy Brussels sprouts, sweet potato with marshmallows, pumpkin pie in a jar and more. Their delicious BBQ menu will also be available on the big day, so you can still chow down on ribs and mac n' cheese.

NUO

NUO is getting into the spirit of things with multiple live carving stations and a selection of traditional Thanksgiving dishes paired with international selections. There will be a buffet lunch (RMB288) and dinner (RMB458 with free-flow wine and beer) at N'Joy and a 5-course lunch and dinner at Jia (RMB888 per couple, includes one bottle of wine). 

The Cut 

Chef Christoph Zoller and his team have concocted a lovely 4-course meal (RMB888 per person). To start there will be Cream of Forest Mushroom Soup followed by sorbet. The main event will include a traditional turkey, Brussels sprouts, new potatoes, classic cranberry sauce and gravy, and pumpkin pie. The menu will also feature Wagyu filet mignon, foie gras shallot confit and black gravy.

Lily's American Diner 

For a good ol' fashioned American Thanksgiving dinner, head over to any of Lily's three locations from November 23-26. They're also offering delivery if you prefer to celebrate the holiday in the comfort of your own home (for details see below). Lily's also offers delivery (see below).

Caravan

Caravan is serving up a special Thanksgiving dinner with turkey and all the fixings. Stay tuned for details.

Home Plate

Home Plate is barbequing turkey and ham for the occasion. And in true American fashion they'll have a buffet with all the fixings. Think cornbread dressing, "boozy" cranberry sauce, pecan crusted sweet potatoes, country green beans, whipped garlic mashed potatoes, smoked giblet gravy and salad. And in case you're still not full, there will be plenty of desserts to choose from. They also offer delivery (see below).

The Rug

The Rug is offering a special Thanksgiving whole baked chicken set meal, good for 2-4 people. Sets include two seasonal pumpkin soups, two cups of mulled wine, and one buttermilk roasted corn (RMB399 per set). For an additional, RMB100 you can opt for a jar of mulled wine.

Eudora Station

Eudora Station is cooking up a couple Thanksgiving feasts. The Turkey Set Menu feeds four people (RMB898) and the Ham Set Menu serves 8-10 (RMB1,580). Orders must be made at least three days ahead of time.

V Sports 

V Sports has all your Thanksgiving needs covered. With two menu options, you can have a traditional Thanksgiving meal with plenty of pumpkin (here’s to the creamy pumpkin soup and pumpkin pie). If you have the numbers, go in together for a whole roasted turkey.

Kerry's Kitchen

What’s Thanksgiving without good food and children running wild? Kerry’s Kitchen offers a buffet of traditional Thanksgiving dishes, as well as some creative twists for an updated take on the holiday. Children can run about the Adventure Zone and remember their Thanksgiving in Beijing for years to come.

Feast

Feast (at EAST, Beijing) will have a full Thanksgiving buffet dinner on the big day. RMB288 gets you as much turkey, stuffing and fixings as you can stuff in your face.

Grand Café

Seafood lovers will appreciate this one. Grand Café will have a fully stocked Thanksgiving buffet dinner. Aside from roast turkey and all the sides, there will also be seasonal seafood and festive desserts.

Thanksgiving Delivery & Takeout 

Prefer to have Thanksgiving dinner in the comfort of your own home? Fear not, there are plenty of restaurants who will do all the work for you, and most will even deliver. 

Home Plate 

You can order a full Thanksgiving dinner for up to 10 people for RMB1,688. Orders are very limited and must be picked up on November 23 from 1-6.30pm. A deposit of RMB500 is required.

U’Deli (NUO Hotel)

U’Deli is offering take-away dinners for RMB890 per set.

Eudora Station

Eudora Station also has Thanksgiving delivery for RMB1,280.

Turkey Taxi (Fairmont Beijing)

Don't have an oven in which to cook your own Thanksgiving turkey? Not to worry. The chefs over at The Cut will cook everything up for you, including slow roased turkey, homemade gravy and all the sides. Make sure to order 48 hours in advance. The package gets you a slow-roasted 7-9kg turkey (serves 6-10 people), gravy and cranberry sauce, plus a choice of two sides: confit potatoes, glazed red wine cabbage, sweet potato mash with raisin, caramelized apple and chestnut or sautéed Brussels sprouts with bacon.

Village Café (Opposite House)

Village Café will be cooking up turkeys and all the sides. Not only are set meals available for pickup, but you can get all of it delivered right to your door. (Prices vary, orders must be place three days ahead of time.)

The Patisserie (Grand Hyatt)

The Patisserie has it all, from roasted turkey to delicious pumpkin pies. They’re offering delivery and takeaway from November 20-23 for RMB698 (5-6kg). Orders must be placed 48 hours in advance at +86 10 6510 9362.

Lily's American Diner 

If you prefer to celebrate the holiday in the comfort of your own home, Lily's is here to save the day. Turkeys cost RMB139 per kg and sides are RMB30 apiece -- homemade stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, vegetables, cranberry sauce and gravy.
