Sat, Apr 9: Helm and M Dwinell at Fruityspace

After a lengthy hiatus, pangbianr is coming back this Saturday at the new venue Fruityspace. Expect an evening full of music with a free improve set by Ding Chenchen and Charm. Afterwards groove to the experimental sounds of London’s Helm and New York’s M Dwinell. And finally top it all off with live techno set from Menghan.

Sat, Apr 9: Live Beijing Music Presents "School House Rock Vol. 1!"

Beijing music bloggers Live Beijing Music has got your Saturday evening entertainment sorted with a stacked bill of exiting young bands. From indie rock (Dreamki) to post-punk (Streets Kill Strange Animals) and – not to be left-out – hardcore punk (Laisee), Live Beijing Music brings all the genres for a guaranteed night of "School House Rock!" Check it out so you can say you were there from day (or volume) one.

Sat, Apr 9: Yves V at Elements

Belgium EDM superstar Yves V is making his first-ever performance in Beijing this Saturday. He is best known as being a main resident DJ for the Tomorrowland Festival in Belgium, the US and South America, not to mention Mysteryland and Sensation Worldwide and is currently 34th among the world’s best DJs. Yves V’s performance at Elements is definitely an EDM show that shouldn’t be missed.

Sun, Apr 10: Kenichiro Nishihara at Yugong Yishan

There’s something a little different going on at Yugong Yishan this weekend. Japanese producer Kenichiro Nishihara is slated to bring his signature jazz, piano and hip hop-infused style to the venue. It’s bound to be a nice change of pace.
