To celebrate the 175th anniversary of the birth of Auguste Escoffier, the father of French gastronomy, over 100 restaurants in nearly 40 countries and regions around the world held the great Prestige Epicurean Dinner on the evening of October 28, 2021, using the same menu.

Together with over 700 Disciples Escoffier members, families and friends, 23 selected restaurants in 11 cities across the country hosted this unique dining experience. The following venues participated

Serving the same menu on the same day and “wherever men of taste can meet around a good table” are the principles of the Epicure's Dinners created by Escoffier, whose aim was to “demonstrate the excellence of French cuisine to the world,” which his disciples now continue every year. "We sincerely appreciate all the chefs for their collaboration in providing diners with such a wonderful night and a tasteful dining experience. With the support of everyone, the Epicure's Dinner will continue to let more people experience the charm of food," said Mr. Peter Zhou, the president of the Disciples Escoffier International China Delegation.

Disciples Escoffier International was founded in 1954; it is a non-profit association and one of the world's most important international cuisine associations. Funded in memory of Chef Auguste Escoffier France – a knight of honor medal recipient. The association now exists in China, Singapore, Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, The Philippines, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Mexico, Japan, the United States, Canada and other countries, as well as areas with representative offices. There are more than 2,000 members in France, and more than 25,000 members around the world.
