The weekday grind can wear out even the strongest of office warriors. As such, Mambo have put together this fun and light networking event for anyone interested in selling on Amazon. On Wednesday, online business brokerage Empire Flippers and the professor of Amazon, an expert when it comes to all things Amazon, will give you an inside look at the magical world of ecommerce.

Wed, Mar 27: Let’s Talk Reader Psychology

On Wednesday, March 27, the Book Exchange library will host an insightful talk from 7pm to 9pm. Book Exchange volunteer Edison will lead a discussion about the psychology of reading. Topics covered will include why people read, how it affects the way we think and why some books are smash hits while others, well, aren't.

COOOL Mart, a brand-spanking new event, based in Nanhai E-Cool is a fun craft market catering to the foreign community in Shenzhen. The organizers hope to blend together different cultures and groups at this unique market. With hand-made crafts, exotic snacks, live music and fun games, COOOL Mart brings together a wonderful assortment of handmade, homemade and made-with-the-heart products.

Sat, Mar 30: Wuxing Stunt Team-Open House

The guys with Wuxing Stunt Team are presenting their open house every Saturday, so that you can join and learn how to put together your most Hollywood-esque stunts. The three trainers are experienced in a range of martial arts such as Muay Thai, Indonesian fighting and wrestling.

Since Zhenker’s first event almost two years ago, it’s been awesome to see them grow and become a regular name in the Shenzhen craft beer community. This month marks their two-year anniversary, and they will celebrate with free flows and bbq deals for all participants!

Guangzhou rockers Yer Mudder team up with A Reptile Disfunction and Shenzheners Mott and Thin City to bring you, the lovely people of Shenzhen, a fantastic evening of rock and roll. While we’re immediately fascinated by the band names, we are excited to see four fun, up-and-coming local acts take to the stage over the course of one evening.

Sun, Mar 31: Little Women

Louisa May Alcott’s story is a tale of growing up in 19th century America in a woman’s body. Long seen as a defining text in women’s literature, this coming-of-age story has stood the test of time and is now coming to Shenzhen, thanks to Chapterhouse Theater.

Sun, Mar 31: Oliver Hafenbauer

Hitting up all the trendy clubs throughout China (Zhao Dai in Beijing, Tag in Chengdu, etc.), German DJ Oliver Hafenbauer has carved out a reputation as producer, a musical curator, at Offenbach club Robert Johnson, and as a label head, with his work on leftfield imprint Die Orakel. Joining him on the evening will be Shenzhen-based Sam Lai, who has made appearances at a number of major music festivals around China.
