We're giving away five tickets – each valued at RMB70, and including two 200 milliliter tasters and a raffle ticket – to the Crafty Beer Fest happening this Saturday in Shenzhen.

The festival begins at 12pm, October 14, when guests entering Sofun Land will be welcomed with sensational smells courtesy of Les 5 Chef's, George & Dragon, Mash, The Deli and Amazon Berry.

The roster of beers and ciders boasts international names such as Firestone Walker and Zeffer, while Zhenker, E.T. Brewery and Dongguan's TreeHouse will be representing the Pearl River Delta (see our guide to Shenzhen's craft beer scene here).

Carnival games, a magician and live music (acoustic, funk, jazz, soul and house) will keep the crowd entertained as they enjoy their delicious craft brews through the afternoon and into the night.

Plus, the scenic outdoor venue is located in a new creative art district in Xili, perfect for those who enjoy seeking out Shenzhen's hidden gems.

Tickets

Presale tickets are RMB70 (RMB100 at the door) and now include not only two 200-milliliter tasters but also two game tokens and a bus pass.

Scan the QR code in the poster below to purchase. If you can't pay via Wechat, add ID 'lanny221289' to find out how to reserve tickets in advance.

How to get there

Organizers have prepared buses that will leave from Futian District, Shekou, and Dongguan throughout the day. When the festival ends, two more buses will take festival-goers to The Brew in central Futian District. See the full schedule below.

After getting off at Tanglangshan, walk to your left and take the stairs down. Continue on the road until you see large murals on the right. Turn into the street there and keep walking, and the Fest entrance will be on your left.
