Scene and Heard is our monthly edit of the newest spots, designers, labels and collections in town.

D’or et D’Argent

Meaning ‘gold and silver,’ D’or et D’argent is a London-based unisex lifestyle brand that creates luxury digital prints on recycled materials. The concept is that of crafting wearable art – think avant-garde graphics and funky photos reproduced on tees and sweaters - by using a fashion technology called dye-sublimation, which dyes color into the yarn rather than simply printing it on the surface.

The label has just launched its latest collection, Power Girl, at jewelry store OOAK. The line celebrates the personalities and stories of five creative females - OOAK founder Alice Xu, UK singer and songwriter Stephanie O’Brien and fashion bloggers Claire Chanelle of chouquette.co.uk, Jackie of German site Whaelse.com and Peruvian-German Fiorella of fashionrella.com. Each fashionista was asked to create her own print, making for an edit of lush, beautiful t-shirts that are artsy, unique and incredibly soft to the touch. RMB590 each.
