Stefan from Fat Mamma always wanted an LA style pizza truck and now his dreams have almost materialised at his new Fat Mama 'pop-up' Pizza and Beer Garden in Jing'an. It's open now and to celebrate, it's Happy Hour all god damned weekend!
Draft beers as follows: (happy hour price/normal price): Brooklyn lager (RMB35/50), San Miguel (RMB25/40), Hoegaarden (RMB35/50), Magners Cider (RMB45/60).
Wines (happy hour price/normal price): "Good" red (RMB25/40), "Better" white (RMB35/50), "Mama's Favorite" red (RMB45/60).
10 pizzas (starting at RMB58) are on offer from the (you could call it a) pizza truck without wheels or perhaps the Italian Dogtown. There's no cars around and room for about 30 people to sit outside with some of the area covered in case it gets wet.
Also in the works are plans to start opening up earlier to serve breakfast pancakes. This is fast turning into a reliable spot for a bite to eat at all hours of the day.
Regular Happy Hour (after this weekend) is from 11am-7pm Monday to Friday and 2pm-4pm at weekends.
