The incident, caught on video, shows a worker at Tsingtao Brewery's factory warehouse relieving himself in the ingredient storage area on October 19.

Tsingtao Brewery, a brand with over 120 years of history, is one of China's oldest and most iconic beer companies.

Tsingtao Brewery's product, Tsingtao Beer, has long been a symbol of pride, making this scandal all the more shocking to consumers.

In response to the video, Tsingtao Brewery issued a statement on October 20, in which the company expressed deep concern over the incident and promptly reported it to local law enforcement.

The police have initiated an investigation into the matter, and the batch of malt involved has been securely stored away, according to Tsingtao Brewery.

It's worth noting that this incident comes just before the widely celebrated Singles' Day, or Double Elevens' Day, a massive online shopping event in China.

Many brands, including Tsingtao Brewery, have rolled out significant promotions during this time. Whether this incident will impact Tsingtao Brewery's sales during Singles' Day remains to be seen.

For now, the public's focus remains on this controversy, as the famous brewery works to rebuild its reputation.
