Aug 16: Bayanihan Memorial Event for Resly Parado
It is with a heavy heart we share the news that the smiling face of Resly Parado is no longer with us. A wonderful soul, Resly was a father to two beautiful young children, a loving husband to Jocelyn, and filled with so much warmth and compassion to anyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Resly was a staple on the city’s F&B scene for many years. For all you Shanghai veterans, you might remember Origin in Tianzifang and Nova on Dagu Lu; if you ever had a late night at Zapatas, or danced the night away at the original Apartment, or, up until last week, enjoyed a margarita at El Santo – you had been taken care of by Resly.
Everybody who knew Resly, however well, is invited to El Santo this coming Monday, August 16, to celebrate a life well lived, but cut way too short. In the spirit of Filipino culture, ‘Bayanihan’ means to come together as a community to achieve something an individual can’t do alone.
Throughout the evening there will be auctions to help raise funds, a brief eulogy and some acoustic music, with 100% of all revenue going directly to Resly’s family.

Aug 12: F45 Challenge Information Night
