UPDATE: Shanghai Reports No New Coronavirus Cases, Total Stands at 337

UPDATE (February 27, 2020 at 11.45pm CST): On Friday, the Shanghai Health Commission confirmed no new cases of coronavirus in the city. The number of cases stands at 337.


On Friday, the Shanghai Health Commission confirmed no new coronavirus (COVID-19) cases. The number of cases in Shanghai now stands at 337, Shine reports.

Of the 337 patients in Shanghai, 46 are in stable condition, three are in serious condition and nine are in critical condition. So far, 276 people have fully recovered and been discharged and three people have died.

Doctors in Shanghai are currently testing 64 patients who are suspected of having the coronavirus. 

The death toll from the coronavirus now stands at 2,791, with over 78,959 confirmed cases reported in China.
