Jul 2: Tuesday Night Camel Pub Quiz

Hosted by That's Shanghai's very own Ned Kelly, this weekly pub quiz takes you through ten rounds covering everything from current events, history, music, film and more. Meals are two-for-one and it is happy hour all night. Starts 8pm and it is all wrapped up by 10.30pm so everyone can be fresh at work the next day.

Jul 5: Celia Presents: Mickey Zhang

Mickey Zhang (Zhang Ran) is a godfather of Chinese dance music. His massive 20-year career has seen him take on the roles of DJ, producer, while he has also worked on a number of soundtracks and albums. He has become an ambassador for China’s burgeoning electronic music scene.

Peppa Pig’s Adventures is here with the all new action-packed live show featuring your favorite characters as life size puppets and costume. Come join Peppa on an exciting camping trip to the woods with George and her school friends, including Pedro Pony, Suzy Sheep and Gerald Giraffe. The show will be full of singing, dancing, games and surprises.

French singer-songwriter, Laurent Bàn was originally going to be a painter before he discovered the French musical Stamina and decided that music and acting were his passions. The multi-talented Frenchman is on for two nights in Shanghai.

Through July 14: Dunhuang 1650 Exhibition

How much do you really know about the cultural and historical city of Dunhuang? Located on the old Silk Road, the ancient city was founded by Emperor Wudi of the Han Dynasty and has a history of nearly 2,000 years. From now until July 17, Powerlong Museum and Dunhuang Academy China are hosting a special interactive exhibition called Dunhuang 1650, which will display 200 selected items from the ancient city. You’ll have the chance to view and learn about the treasures of Dunhuang, including items such as paintings, sculptures, murals, engravings and a volume of the private and official documents that span thousands of years, many of which have never been publicly displayed before.
