Pret A Manger is best known for their fresh and healthy sandwiches, soups and breakfasts, as well as their organic coffee. But did you know they also serve up some seriously good tea? Pret – an expat favorite here in Shanghai – has recently launched its new spring line of teas, called Oolong Tea Pret-A-Cuppa.

The Shanghai branch of Pret now features three new oolong teas. The tealeaves are all sourced from gardens in Yunnan. And just like all Pret A Manger products, these teas are all natural, healthy and delicious. Oolong teas are not only known to have numerous health benefits but they are also an excellent source of antioxidants.

Here’s a glimpse of each flavor in the Oolong Tea Pret-A-Cuppa line for all you tea lovers out there:

Alpine Oolong

For the Alpine Oolong, the leaves are all organic and picked from tea gardens located in the highest mountains of Yunnan. When brewed, the leaves produce a mild, pale-green tea with floral notes and a subtle fragrance.

Honey Aroma Red Oolong

As its name suggests, the Honey Aroma Red Oolong has a more amber tone. Its flavor is smooth, fruity and slightly sweet, with hints of jasmine, rose and honey.

Oriental Beauty

The color of the Oriental Beauty oolong tea is light amber and because of its use of flowers and citrus, it has a distinctly sweet aroma. This oolong is especially rich and smooth.

If you’re looking for a light meal to go along with your Pret-A-Cuppa, Pret also has three new rice-based salads on offer: Teriyaki Salmon, Poke Prawn and Hawaii Island. Or if you’re a spicy food lover, you can always go with the Sichuan Chicken Salad.

There's something for everyone at Pret.
