Attention Americans in Shanghai: you can register to vote in the 2018 midterm elections this weekend.
Sproutworks will be hosting 'Power to the Polls,' an all-day voter registration event for US citizens living abroad, at its Xintiandi branch on Sunday, January 21 — the one year anniversary of the Women's Rights March. Voters of any party are free to stop by to make sure their voices are heard this November.
Head over to Sproutworks on Sunday to fill out your Federal Post Card Application (FPCA) to request an absentee ballot, get a free 'Register to Vote' sticker, write a message to your Senator and more. Show off your sticker to get 50 percent off a Sproutworks 'AMERICAN-o' all day long.
And as a special gift, Krista Suh, the creator of the Pussyhat Project, has also provided 10 signed copies of her new book DIY Rules for a WTF World. Anyone who registers to vote at the event will automatically be entered into a raffle to win one of the books. Here's a video greeting from Suh:
