Jean Georges' Korean BBQ Chi-Q is Closing This Week

And another one bites the dust. Chi-Q, the upmarket Korean BBQ restaurant in Three on the Bund by the Jean Georges crew is bidding adieu to the city this Wednesday, March 29.

What's opening in its place? That remains "confidential" according to ToTB honchos, but between us, we've a hunch the next occupant will make use of the restaurant's tableside BBQ grills...

At time of writing you've still got two days left to pay Chi-Q a visit. We recommend the Blackmore beef platter, Korean-fried chicken wings and jap chae noodles.

As for Chi-Q head Chef Bina Yu, word is she'll be sticking around in Shanghai and continue working for ToTB. Doing what exactly remains a secret. More deets as we get them.
