Since starting out in London in 2003, Fashion Rocks has brought together the world’s top fashion brands with music stars for a union of cat walk and concert. For its inaugural Shanghai edition, confirmed acts include R&B institution Usher (pictured), pop bad girl Charli XCX and renowned pop diva Coco Lee, who has sold over 10 million records worldwide. Split Works presents the Mainland debut of the indie-folk mastermind responsible for critically beloved discs like last year’s b’lieve i’m goin’ down... A long-time favorite on the underground scene who counts luminaries like Sonic Youth’s Kim Gordon as fans, the troubadour’s charms are becoming increasingly hard to ignore in the mainstream. The Kunming electro trio are one of China’s most exciting bands. Oct 15: Mono
The Tokyo post-rock gods kick off their latest world tour on the Mainland in support of their latest disc, Requiem for Hell. Inspired by Dante’s Inferno Comedy and produced by legendary indie producer Steve Albini (Pixies, Nirvana), Mono once again bring their customarily distinct blind of grandiose orchestra arrangements with ear bleeding shoegaze noise. While their albums are typically critically acclaimed, it’s live where the quartet shines with their shows often described as unforgettable, transcendent, majestically loud and violently beautiful. With more than 800 million views of his hit song ‘Danza Kuduro,’ Lucenzo is a giant in reggaeton and Latin music. He’s worked with Don Omar, Pitbull and Sean Paul, while racking up numerous awards. For this lit edition of Electropical, he will perform a special live show with DJ sets from his official DJ, DJ R’an, and DJ S.Kiv.

Two-time Grammy Award winning singer Corinne Bailey Rae (pictured) pulls double duty headlining both nights at China's largest jazz festival. As usual, the rest of the JZ Festival line-up is stacked with award-winning jazz greats (Eddie Gómez, Randy Brecker and the Joshua Redman and Brad Mehldau Duo), inspired left-field choices (Death in Vegas with Sasha Grey) and top Mainland talent (Ttechmak and Soulspeak, Li Xiaochuan).
