There’s a big electronic music festival going down at Beijing’s Sky Desert and a trio of its internationl headliners will travel south to rock MAO Livehouse. On Sep 1, chart-topping electronic singer-songwriter-rapper Example is bringing his full band down. The next night, rising Norweigian producer Alan Walker will be joined by a special guest spinning melodic electro-house. Veteran live drum and bass band Rudimental will be joined by trumpeter Mark Crown for an extra soulful soul on Sep 5. Three-day passes available for RMB500.

The electronic singer-songwriter has topped the UK charts with a distinct sound that incorporates rap and dubstep. Praised for his outstanding live shows, he’s bringing the whole band with him to China for the first time, as part of a mini-tour that includes headlining the MTA Festival in Beijing. Sep 2: Alan Walker
The Norweigian producer burst onto the scene with his 2014 melodic electro-house hit ‘Fade.’ With over 50 million YouTube views, Walker is translating viral success into the real thing. Sep 5: Rudimental
The drum and bass live quartet has topped the UK charts with their debut single ‘Feel the Love,’ but it’s on the stage where they shine the brightest.
