El Coctel and Bikini Are Closing Too

By That's Shanghai, July 13, 2016

Swanky Xuhui cocktail bar El Coctel and adult-cinema-themed (as strange and confusing as it sounds) hotdog joint Bikini of the Willy Trullas Moreno's El Willy group are the latest in a devastating string of venue closures around town.

Following in the wake of Yongkang Lu and Xixi Bistro, the closing has been attributed to licensing and contract disputes with property managers. If you can't beat 'em, pack up your stuff and move on!

Fear not, precision cocktail enthusiasts can still get their fix at little brother El Ocho in Jing'an; the restaurant group says it will concentrate all their efforts there now. Their Moscow Mule is pictured above.
