The International Shanghai Global Shapers Hub, an initiative of the World Economic Forum, is launching their first community project in Shanghai – a photo exhibition under the theme of "Shanghai Souls."
Professional and amateur photographers are invited to submit 3-10 photographs per individual centered around the theme of Shanghai Souls. You’re encouraged you to be creative with the theme – it does not necessarily have to be in Shanghai, but any person, place, environment or conceptual idea that represents what you think is the soul of Shanghai.
The organizers will choose 75 photographs to display at the exhibition, held at Liquid Laundry on November 19 at 7.30pm.
At the end of the night, guests will be invited to take any of the printed photos to keep for free, but donations are encouraged. All proceeds from the night go to Eden Ministry, a rehabilitation center for Asia’s red-light districts.
Photograph submission will be closed on November 9, and photography winners will notified on November 13.
