Artisanal food fair Jiashan Saturday Market, winner of Best Pop Up Market at our Best of Shanghai Awards this year, returns after their summer break on September 5, just in time for the V-Day holiday. 

 

Held on the first and third Saturdays of every month, Jiashan Market Shanghai is a community run event established in 2011 and showcases around 30 of the city’s best artisan producers. Regular products on offer include freshly baked handmade British cakes (The British Kitchen), jams and preserved goods (Amelia’s), freshly roasted coffee (Jonas Emil), dry aged steaks and burgers (Monster Steaks), European breads (Shanghai Young Bakers), handcrafted beer (Westwood Ales) and much, much more, including regular live music acts playing throughout the afternoon.

 

Market dates until Chinese New Year will be as follows:

5 December

19 December* (Christmas Special with extended opening hours)
