Yannick Rieu, who shines brightly in the hall of jazz music, was once honored with the 18th Oscar Peterson Award. This prestigious award was established during the 10th Montreal International Jazz Festival to recognize his outstanding musical artistry and profound contributions to the Canadian jazz music scene.
His jazz music albums have not only garnered multiple Felix Awards, often referred to as the "Canadian Grammys," and Opus Awards but have also earned him the Distinguished Composer Award from the Quebec Professional Songwriters' and Composers' Association Foundation (SPACQ). The Paris-based "Jazz Magazine" hailed him as "Canada's great jazz poet!"
On September 8th in Shanghai, Yannick Rieu leads the "Jazz Brahms Quartet," offering you his original compositions.
