This Chinese New Year, Historic Shanghai is conducting a series of walks in three neighborhoods in the oldest parts of Shanghai that are in the process of being redeveloped out of existence.

On January 26th, we'll visit the Xiaonanmen section of the old Chinese city, where the streets of this exceptionally atmospheric part of the ancient city are emptying, as the shadow of redevelopment looms.
