From Thursday to Saturday January 10-12th, Chef Mo Zhou teams up with Chef Chris Zhu from Bird for a three night Japanese pub-style izakaya pop up. Inspired by Shinya Shokudo, Japanese manga series ‘Midnight Dinner’, Chefs Zhou and Zhu reinterpret casual izakaya dishes with a fine dining approach. Expect a night of sake, beer and highball with dishes such as teriyaki glazed grilled chicken, pigeon katsu with homemade Worcestershire sauce and steamed forest rice.
Chef Zhou was trained in Australia’s best kitchens (namely Attica and Vue de Monde) and has held a series of pop up dinners in Melbourne, Korea and China.
