The Lord of The Lost (Lost Lord) was founded in 2007 by the Gothic Industrial Metal Band in Hamburg, Germany, and the lead singer is Chris Harms. Chris defines the band's style as a mixture of HIM and Rammstein.

Their style is closest to dark rock and is also influenced by metal music.

In an interview with the music magazine Zillo, the band lead singer Harms said about the name of the band: "This is the expression of the musical philosophy we have been promoting. We regard music as our own life, and 'lost' Words are right for us."

There have been several key points illustrated in Orkus magazine that are crucial to the music creation of harms: "Unconstrained creation, uncompromising and inspiration from the outside."

As the influence of the band's music expanded, the lord of the lost was gradually associated with big bands such as Rammstein, Marilyn Manson, Nine Inch Nails and the early roxette.
