The Literary Reading Series at NYU Shanghai features readings by and discussions with acclaimed poets, fiction and non-fiction writers and translators from around the world. The series is sponsored by the university’s Writing Program.

On April 10, the Literary Reading Series event combines art and literature in a special presentation. Artist and architect Karina Puente will present her notebooks and drawings inspired by Calvino’s celebrated work, Invisible Cities (1972) and NYU Shanghai students will read passages from Calvino’s novel.
