How often do we ask ourselves these questions in a world dominated by material and physical fulfilment? Rates of depression, anxiety, and even PTSD tend to be higher in queer communities due to additional social pressures. As queer individuals, not only do we need a queer support system, we also need to prioritize self-care for our own mental well-being. In our Queer Talks Trilogy I: Relationships, during Roxie's Happy Hour, we will examine our relationships with ourselves and talk about how self-care can be a radical act.
