March 25: Original Strauss Capelle Wien

The Original Strauss Capelle Wien is noted for their red tuxedos and the true spirit of Strauss. For centuries, the orchestra has graced numerous prestigious concert halls and theaters. This time, this music ambassador from Vienna will come to Guangzhou for a one-night-only classical music extravaganza, featuring the brilliance of conductor Rainer Roos and famed opera singer Marcela Cerno.

March 29: Lucite Tokki

‘Tokki’ means ‘rabbit’ in Korean. As the name suggests, this duo is formed by two cute Korean girls: Sun Young Kim and Ye Jin Cho. Known for their public performances near Hongik University in Seoul, the duo captures listeners’ minds with lively melodies. Hidden behind easily understood lyrics are thoughts inspired by regular daily life. Less commercial and more sincere than the average act, Tokki is bound to win hearts.

March 29: Take Out Comedy

Qba, at the Westin Guangzhou, will be hosting Hong Kong's premier English-language comedy show - Take Out Comedy. The performance will be headlined by two-time Hong Kong International Comedy Competition finalist Sean Hebert, who has become a rising star on the Asia comedy circuit.

Supporting acts include Garron Chiu, Paul Johnson and Tamby Chan. All the acts will be making their Guangzhou debut.

Beijing electronic group FM3

The Beijing-based group has been leading the vanguard in experimental electronic music for years now. They’re best known for creating the Buddha Machine, a small musical loop player. The instrument is highlighted in the just released Ting Shuo, their first full-length album in a decade. The disc developed during tours across China in the past two years and was mastered in Berlin.
