Summer Provides Real-Work Experience
The AISG Social Practice program is a valuable opportunity for students to engage in experiential learning, gain real-world experience, and develop new skills related to a field of study or career interest. Similar to an internship, the AISG Social Practice Program places students for a period of time in a company working directly with their employees. Students have gained experience in industries such as gaming and e-commerce retail and this summer, students are working in the finance and healthcare industries. This program is a true differentiator in the school market, offering students a unique experience in making a positive contribution to society while exploring different career possibilities.

The Power of Museums
At the end of the school year, Foshan EtonHouse International School presented a wonderful year-end performance for parents and guests in both Chinese and English. The students demonstrated the power of China's amazing museums through rich songs, dances and wonderful stories. The show started from the Palace Museum, where the Cultural Relics opened a museum appreciation concert after the museum had closed for the night, opening the door for the audience to visit their wonderful museum. Then Wang Ximeng's "A Thousand Li of Rivers and Mountains" burst onto the screen, and the dancers presented the classic dance "Only Blue and Green" to such a high level. The cultural relic Farming and Trade Export Wallpaper in the Qianlong Period exhibited in the Guangdong Museum tells the story of Guangzhou's trade and farming through the wallpaper pictures. With the chime bells of Zeng Houyi in Hubei Museum ringing, accompanied by the song called Five Pitches, the young dancers expressed their love for Chinese cultural traditions with their dances. The Choir then sang a song "Echoes of Ancient Shu" for the audience to show the magic of Sanxingdui cultural relics of Guanghan. Visitors at the Shaanxi Museum were amazed by the exquisite movements of the ceramic figurines dancing. Finally, the actors returned to the stage and jointly presented a song "Pass it on" to draw a perfect end to the whole show. This museum tour brought to life fascinating artifacts that connect us across time and space, giving viewers a sense of the power of museums and the importance of cultural heritage. This is the fifth year that Foshan EtonHouse International School has performed on the theme of Chinese culture. As an international school, the respect and love for Chinese culture shown by the school's staff and students has positively influenced the entire school community. Love and respect for China is evident in every, single aspect of the school's day to day life.
